Nitrogen agreement: action “was a success” and farmers gave “a strong signal”
The farmers protested against the agricultural policy of the Flemish Government and the lack of a nitrogen plan. Even today, the government is still not in agreement on this. Tractors from all over the country drove through Brussels this afternoon. Traffic in and around the capital was therefore deadlocked. The farmers could not have conveyed the message more clearly, says the Boerenbond.
