Youngster Vitor Roque is arguably one of the hottest stocks in Brazil. The freshly minted 18-year-old from Club Athletico Paranaense is one of the world’s most valuable players in his age group with a market value of 14 million euros and has been associated with the biggest clubs in Europe in the TM rumor mill for some time. FC Barcelona in particular is said to be very interested and Vitor Roque makes no secret of the fact that he feels ready to move to Europe.

Asked about a potential move to Barça, he said: “It’s a dream, not only for me but also for every other player. If I end up going to Barça, it would be a great joy for my family and for me.” The attacker made 36 appearances last season, scoring seven goals and providing two assists. He recently took part in the U20 South American Championship with the Brazilian U20 team, where the “Seleção” celebrated winning the title. Vitor Roque contributed six goals and one assist in eleven games.
