It’s a regular feature on the juice channels: people who share their negative experiences with celebrities. Yvonne Coldeweijer has it again done a round and comes across a striking number of bad stories about Wendy van Dijk. The presenter wouldn’t be that nice in real life if she pretended to be in her smiling people magazine and on television.

“Calm down, Wendy!”

Wendy is portrayed as a grumpy teen by one of Yvonne’s spies. “Wendy van Dijk is also grumpy with everyone in her own hometown (Nigtevecht, ed.). She doesn’t want to talk to anyone and when she talks it’s always bad. And she races with her Porsche or her husband’s Defender through the streets where children play and cross the street.”

That’s not good, Yvonne screams. “LOL Wendy restaagh. ?”

Angry and annoyed

Grumpy behavior from Wendy? Another spy can imagine anything. “I was in Ibiza a few years ago and read in a book that a restaurant in San Rafael was her favorite restaurant. She lived near the village, I believe. The booklet also stated that you had better make a reservation, because it is usually packed in the evening.”

This spy had made a reservation and scored a table outside near the entrance. “Wendy enters the restaurant with husband and children and (in-law) parents at a stretched trot, and demanded a large table from the owner. But full is full, so also for madam. She was not served by that, and walked out with her company angrily.”

Well sporty

Wendy then looked very annoyed at this spy. “The next day I sent her another Twitter message saying the food was delicious and too bad everything was full. By the way, she responded in a sporty way, by saying that life is sometimes good and sometimes disappointing, and wished me a pleasant holiday.”

Another spy once sat next to Wendy on the plane, while she happened to be reading her laughing-people magazine. “She said, ‘Do you like it?’ Then she said, “How about we take a picture later?” To which I said: ‘Yes’.”

Stroking ego

Wendy kept that promise at the end of the flight. “We took the pictures! So then I just thought she was very normal and nice.”

Yvonne: “Hahaha that’s because you stroked her ego.”
