March’s most interesting news in streaming services

Today, streaming services offer a huge number of series, among which it may be difficult to find interesting new acquaintances. Iltalehti brought together series appearing on streaming services in March.

Elisa Entertainment Viaplay

The Head, 2nd season, from 5.3.

The Head is an international Viaplay original series. The second season of the series takes you to “Nemo’s Point” in the Pacific Ocean, which is the most remote place on Earth, 1,681 miles from the earth.

Beach hotel, from 7.3.

The series follows two rival families, Griip and Gyllenmark, in the coastal town of Saltsjövik. Werner Gyllenmark celebrates his 60th birthday. However, the party ends abruptly when Egil collapses and dies. Werner’s plans to move to France with his fiance Vendela are interrupted, and the event soon has serious consequences for all of Saltsjövik.

Robber Bank, from 12.3.

At the end of the 1980s, the Finnish economy is at its hottest, and everyone strives to take their share of the seemingly endless boom. Newly graduated Doctor of Economics Salla Nurminen (Amanda Pilke) gets his first job at the Bank Inspection Agency. Salla gets SKOP to supervise, and gets to know the bank’s charismatic CEO Christopher Wegelius (Pekka Strang). After getting to the big tables, he drifts into both a professional and personal dead end, and no longer knows who he can trust.

The eight-part HBO original series Rain Dogs is a comedy series with black humor and an anarchic attitude. The series deals with a wild, rebellious story about mother’s love, deep-rooted friendships, and talent stifled by poverty and prejudice.

Perry Mason, 2nd season, from 7.3.

The HBO original series Perry Mason continues with new episodes. Only months after the Dodson case was solved, Vesa, an influential oil family, is brutally murdered. When the district attorney is mapping out the suspects, they dive deep into the case, the caches of which reveal a tangle of far-reaching conspiracies.

Succession, 4th season, from 27.3.

Succession deals with the themes of power and family dynamics through patriarch Logan Roy’s (Brian Cox) and her four adult children, Kendall (Jeremy Strong), Siobhan’s (Sarah Snook), Roman’s (Kieran Culkin) and Connor’s (Alan Ruck) with the eyes. In the fourth season, the media conglomerate Waystar Royco’s deal is progressing.

90 Days as a Bride: Around the World, Season 4, from 7.3.

It’s time again to flip the original setting of the favorite series, as Americans travel to their partners’ home countries to start marriages abroad. Spectators can watch from the venue as the international couples get creative with the language barrier and cultural differences. Will love win in the end?

Ex on the Beach Finland, 4th season, from 14.3.

Love is Blind, season 3, from 24.3.

Is love blind? Nick and Vanessa Lachey host a social experiment where Singles look for love and get engaged before meeting their partner.

Sex/Life, 2nd season, from 2.3.

The current housewife’s wild sex history and the current family routine with children are on a collision course, when the stillness that is still swirling in her fantasies comes crashing back into her life. The age limit for the series is 18 years.

The Confessions of Frannie Langton, from 8.3.

The four-part drama series based on the book of the same name by Sara Collins follows the life of young Franny. He has come a long way from a Jamaican slave plantation to the glamorous Mayfair mansion of the respected scientist George Benham and his wife Marguerite.

Andean plane crash – 50 years later, from 10.3.

In 1972, a plane carrying the Uruguayan rugby team crashed and disappeared in the Andes. There were 40 passengers and a crew of five on the plane, 12 of whom died immediately in the accident. The survivors fell into despair in the cold and hunger when rescuers were nowhere to be seen. They had to eat the flesh of their dead friends to stay alive. Finally, 72 days after the plane crash, they were rescued from the mountain. The documentary interviews the survivors of the accident and visits the accident site in the mountains, where victims’ belongings have been found, among other things, under the melted snow cover.

The Confessions of Frannie Langton

The murder mystery tells the story of Frannie, a Jamaican born into slavery, who ends up as a servant in the mansion of the famous Benham scientist and his wife in 18th-century London. He falls in love with his master’s wife, Marguerite, but the women’s forbidden love story ends tragically in a double murder, for which Frannie is accused.

Beyond Paradise

The series follows the clumsy but brilliant Inspector Humphrey Goodman (Chris Marshall) and his bride Martha (Sally Bretton) as they move to the beautiful Devonshire coast, home of Martha. Humphrey joins the local police force and has to solve numerous puzzling mysteries, from the disappearance of an entire family to the case of a ghost that attacked a woman.

When 23-year-old Emma Hedges returns to Scotland to start work as a laboratory assistant at the Scottish Forensic Institute, she enrolls in an online course to prepare for her new job. He soon discovers that one of his fictional case studies has a disturbing connection to his past and the fate of his mother.

Van Life – My life roadtrip, from 6.3.

How do you fit your whole life into one van? The documentary series follows the journalist-writer who became known as a news anchor Aino Huilajan everyday life and traveling in a van. The fellow passengers are the spouse who enjoys being behind the camera Jerry Ylkänen and a travel dog Timid. Along the way, you will also come across other van drivers living on European roads.

North star, from 7.3.

Police work, boxing and family life in Lapland! Maria Pudas (Saara Kotkaniemi), a former boxing world champion, investigates the crimes of his partner Samu Pajalan (Karim Rapatti) with in Lapland. The life of Maria’s warm-hearted and somewhat chaotic family changes when Maria’s father Esko has a seizure and it is revealed that he has debts of 500,000 euros.

In Kirjo, from 27.3.

The series follows the everyday life of Topi, Julius, Kiri and Markus, which brings to light many invisible gaps in our society. The main characters open their homes and hearts as they persevere towards their biggest dreams. The program also hears the relatives of the main characters, but not a single expert opinion.

Temptation Island USA, 2nd season, from 1.3.

The naughty American cousin of Suomen Temppareid, Temptation Island USA, sends four couples to Hawaii to test their relationship. Couples Ashley and Casey, David and Kate, Esonica and Gavin, and Ashley and Rick are separated and sizzling hot seductress singles enter the picture.

Murders and country music, season 3, from 9.3.

Detective Mike Shepherd arrives to work in Brokenwood, a small town where memories and differences are deeply rooted. He soon discovers that in Brokenwood the shadows are fading just below the surface.
