Again hope for stadium dossier Club Brugge
The council withdrew the environmental permit for the stadium due to, among other things, a contradiction in the urban planning regulations of the city. It states that all parking spaces must be provided on their own space, something that is not feasible for a football stadium. Now the city is going to change this.
Franky Demon, alderman of Spatial Planning Bruges: “This will have passed all legal tests, all counsel and advice within 14 days. And then we will go to the aldermen’s college, then to the province, to finally go to the city council within a maximum of five months so that there is an amended urban planning regulation. Then Club can apply for its building permit again within the new legislation.”
