A new application period SLIM for individual SMEs will start on 1 March. The application period runs from March 1, 9:00 AM to March 30, 5:00 PM.
The SLIM subsidy helps entrepreneurs to create a training and development culture in their company. With the subsidy, companies can set up initiatives to allow their employees to continue to develop throughout their career in order to keep them employable and also to ensure that people continue to find their work fun and challenging.
With the opening of this period, a change to the scheme will also come into effect. SME entrepreneurs can apply for an advance of 50% of the awarded subsidy amount when the subsidy is granted. The remaining amount will be awarded after the applicants’ final claim has been determined. Providing an advance can help to cover the SME entrepreneur’s initial or initial project costs and actually start the project.
