Zouma’s filming brother suspended after cat abuse

Yoan Zouma, the brother of the famous footballer Kurt Zouma of West Ham United, is not allowed to play for Dagenham & Redbridge FC for the time being. The club, who plays at the fifth tier of England, has suspended him pending the outcome of an investigation by the English animal protection organization.

Yoan Zouma made the now much-discussed video showing his brother Kurt mistreating two cats. The images, spread via social media, caused a wave of outrage in England.

Kurt Zouma played against Watford on Tuesday despite all the commotion with West Ham United. The English animal protection organization has now removed the two cats from his home and wants to further investigate the abuse. Only when all the results are known, Yoan Zouma may be allowed to play for Dagenham & Redbridge FC again.
