What if I don’t want fiber?
Maybe you have a subscription with Ziggo and you are not waiting for KPN’s fiber optic connection at all. Or do you want to keep your current subscription with your provider. Even if you have given permission for cable in your home, a connection with a subscription is not an obligation.
You don’t have to be afraid of an eternal orange, green or pink blade in your garden or street. They will be buried underground. As long as a house is not connected to the fiber optic network, the protrusions will remain. “So many cables have been added that it takes time for the technicians to eliminate all connections,” explains Hans van Zon, spokesman for KPN.
Are you still unsure whether fiber optic is the best option for you? Then you can check prices and options compare internet providers via the website of the Consumer Association. Here you can see which providers there are in your zip code area.
