Postal company finds drugs and money: agents dress up as delivery men

A shipping company in Breda found two kilos of drugs and more than 20,000 euros in cash in two packages on Thursday. Later that day, the police arrested a man for whom the packages were intended. Officers dressed up as company employees. The 53-year-old man from Oosterhout is suspected of money laundering, among other things, it became known on Saturday.

The shipping company immediately informed the police on Thursday afternoon after the special finds. He confiscated the narcotics and money.

With the help of the shipping company, agents, fully dressed as employees of the shipping company, set out to deliver (empty) packages to the addressee. Hoping that he would be home. However, that was not the case. Later the man from Oosterhout could still be arrested.

His house has been searched. A gun was found. The weapon has been seized.
