“The truth is I’ve worked very hard since coming to Newcastle to improve my level and get to where I am at the moment. I also thank the staff and my teammates who helped me a lot. I think the extension is a reward for all that hard work and I’m very happy. We have a very important game on Sunday and although the new contract makes me really happy, the most important thing is that we celebrate this contract with a win on Sunday,” said the attacking force. United head coach Eddie Howe added: “Miggy is a hugely important one Part of our squad on and off the pitch and I am delighted that his contribution is being recognized in this way. I look forward to continuing our journey together.”
