Newcastle United and right winger Miguel Almirón have extended their collaboration early on to 2026. This was announced by the fifth in the Premier League ahead of Sunday’s upcoming EFL Cup final against Manchester United. Since then, the left-footed player has played 152 competitive games for the club, in which he contributed 32 goals. I think the extension is a reward for all that hard work and I’m very happy. We have a very important game on Sunday and although the new contract makes me really happy, the most important thing is that we celebrate this contract with a win on Sunday,” said the attacking force. United head coach Eddie Howe added: “Miggy is a hugely important one Part of our squad on and off the pitch and I am delighted that his contribution is being recognized in this way.
