Tom Sizemore has suffered a brain aneurysm and is now in intensive care. The actor is in critical condition, his spokesman said. His family has been informed. There is no more information at the moment.

The 61-year-old has starred in films such as Natural Born Killers, Pearl Harbor and Black Hawk Down. In 1998 he achieved international fame as Sgt. Mike Horvath in Saving Private Ryan. However, he could not build on the success – and he struggled with drug problems. In 2003 he was sentenced to six months probation for hitting his ex-girlfriend. Four years later, he ended up in prison for violating his parole terms. In David Lynch’s third season of “Twin Peaks” he had at least one supporting role.
