The Kinks co-founder Dave Davies addressed a tweet to Elon Musk after a post about the band was flagged as a “sensitive content” warning.
dear @elonmusk would @twitter please stop putting warnings on everything from ‘the Kinks’. We are just trying to promote our Kinks music @TheKinks #thekinks60 pic.twitter.com/1sXC4CK4d4

The Kinks can be translated from English as “the perverts”. “The Kinks is a brand name. We’ve been the Kinks since 1963,” Davies tweeted. He later replied to a fan: “The word robot should be banned. We have robots running our lives. At least I’m a kink and not a bloody robot.”
Reason for Davies’ statement is a report from the USA, according to which Elon Musk had the Twitter algorithm adjusted in his favor so that his posts had a greater reach. This was preceded by Super Bowl-related tweets from Joe Biden and Musk, both expressing their support for the Philadelphia Eagles. The US President’s tweet had 30 million views, more than triple the 9 million views of the Twitter CEO’s post.
