This is how Russian soldiers live in a Ukrainian camp for prisoners of war: “Mom, I’m in the cell, that’s all I can say”

Hundreds of Russian soldiers, conscripts and mercenaries are currently being held in Ukraine amid the devastating war. The prisoners of war are spread out in fifty special ‘camps’ at various locations in the country. The British news channel BBC was able to pay an exceptional visit to such a camp in western Ukraine. Although the Russians are treated well according to the guards, many of them still hope for a speedy prisoner exchange.
