French car driver slightly injured in accident in Alveringem

In a slight bend, which may have been slippery due to the freezing weather, the vehicle ended up on the verge. The driver also hit a stone culvert in the canal, causing the car to overturn.

The fire brigade of the Lo-Reninge corps came to the scene to free the trapped woman from the vehicle. An ambulance and the MUG were also called. The woman was slightly injured and transferred to the AZ West in Veurne.

One lane was temporarily closed to traffic due to the accident.
