Norway was represented at last spring’s Eurovision by a masked duo.

Who doesn’t remember Subwoofer from Eurovision in Turin. The Norwegian representatives wore special fox masks and sunglasses and sang about giving a banana to a wolf. Subwoolfer finished tenth in the final.

The identity of the performers was not revealed until this Saturday at the five-man qualifying final in Melodi Grand Prix.

Subwoolfer was seen on the five stage in Turin. PDO

The two were musicians Ben Adams and Gaute Ormåsen i.e. just as we guessed last spring.

– The saddest secret ever, the duo sang in the Norwegian five-a-side qualifiers.

At some point, though, it was speculated that Subwoolfer was the same as Ylvis, the Norwegian comedy duo consisting of the brothers Bård Ylvisåker and Vegard Ylvisåker.

In 2013, Ylvis released the fox-themed song The Fox (What Does the Fox Say), which became a big hit.
