Due to his contract ending in the summer, Eintracht Frankfurt’s Daichi Kamada is currently one of the most sought-after players in the Bundesliga. In addition to BVB, FC Bayern is said to be targeting the attacking midfielder.
As the Japanese newspaper “Sponichi” writes, citing its own research, the record champion recently got into poker for the SBU star.
With Kamada’s contract ending on June 30, he can theoretically start negotiations with other clubs now. However, the daily sports newspaper leaves it open how concrete it is between the Japanese national player and FC Bayern.
What is certain, however, is that the top international clubs have long been queuing up at Kamada.
“Sky” had already revealed in December that there was a fundamental interest in the 26-year-old in Dortmund. BVB would therefore like to sign the Frankfurter free of charge in the summer, it said.
In addition, the names of Manchester United, FC Barcelona and Tottenham Hotspur have repeatedly been mentioned as possible buyers in recent weeks.
Eintracht Frankfurt is still fighting for Daichi Kamada
Kamada himself has kept a low profile about his future. The farewell of the top performer from Frankfurt is not yet certain.
The “Bild” recently wrote that Kamada had received an offer from Eintracht that was rich in signatures. This would bind him until 2026 and make him one of the top earners.
It is also unclear when a decision will be made. Sports director Markus Krösche had recently ruled out giving the offensive player an ultimatum.
Should the creative player leave Eintracht in the summer, it would be a heavy blow for the club. With twelve goals involved so far in the current Bundesliga season, Kamada is once again one of the most consistent players in coach Oliver Glasner’s team.
