19 year old Serbian
After the early departure of Stuttgart loanee Alexis Tibidi, Bundesliga side SCR Altach have again borrowed a striker from abroad: Like goalkeeper Andreas Jungdal, the Serbian striker Marko Lazetic is coming to the country from the reigning Italian champions AC Milan until the end of the season. The tall 19-year-old has only made one brief appearance for the Rossoneri in Serie A this season and is now expected to gain more match practice in the Bundesliga.
The U19 team player, for whom the Italians transferred €4.5m to Red Star in January 2022, is still under contract in Milan until 2026.
Sports director Georg Festetics said of the new signing: “Marko Lazetic is an excellently trained striker who would like to take the opportunity in Altach to take his next step in development through regular match practice. We are glad that we were able to prevail against many well-known clubs and that Marko chose us. I would like to thank the directors of AC Milan for the trust they have placed in us and I am happy to welcome another promising top talent to Altach in Marko.”
Marko #Lazetic comes on loan from @acmilan and go hunting for goals in the Rheindorf until summer!
