SBS 6 star Gordon has been mocked by channel colleague Anouk Smulders for his ‘world trip’. The entertainer has done a great job on social media, but now that huge expedition is already over.
Gordon announced at the beginning of the month that it is time for a new adventure in his life and therefore went on a big trip around the world. What is the surprise of his broadcaster colleague Anouk Smulders? He has now already taken the plane to his hometown of Dubai. She finds it a bit grotesque to call this a world tour.
25 days
It’s quite special, says Anouk at the desk of Show news. “Amazement again, because with a world trip you think you will be away for at least six months or at least a few months, but after 25 days he stopped.”
After 25 days, Gordon has already given up? That sounds like his average relationship! Anouk: “He has been to Australia, Bora Bora and LA. He was also seen with Yolanthe, with whom he had dinner in Los Angeles, and he is already on his way back to Dubai, because it was ready.”
End of an era
Anouk thinks it is a very short world trip. She shows the viewer a map of Gordon’s trip. “I was actually looking forward to a lot of images from all over the world, but he has visited three places in 25 days.”
Colleague Manuel Venderbos mockingly: “It was 25 very nice days.”
Anouk then referring to a comment Gordon made in his stories posted: “End of an eraalso there.”
And Evert Santegoeds: “He missed his dog, I think.”
Life changed
Gordon says on Instagram that his whole life has changed because of his trip. “And so ends a journey that literally changed my life! Unprecedented beautiful experiences, people, places, cities, impressions and feelings gained! Privileged that I can do something like this and especially very grateful that I could. They will never take this away from me!”
He continues: “For all those who would like this too: never give up and keep dreaming and broadcasting that you want this and it will happen one way or another! Back home tomorrow and that is also a very nice place! Carpe diem!”
