The event dedicated to men’s fashion in all its forms is ready to surprise thanks to numerous appointments, guests and novelties, with an approach increasingly devoted to globality and the fusion of different disciplines and inspirations. The Pitti Uomo 2023 calendar
The 103rd Pitti Immagine event will take place from 10 to 13 January 2023as usual in the frame of the Lower Fortressto Florence. Four days that will see the presence of established maisons and emerging brands, leading figures in the sector and innovative projects. The exhibition itinerary set up inside the Fortezza will show a complete preview of the new men’s collections. Alongside the classic sections aimed at representing the innumerable souls of men’s fashion, this year it returns I GO OUTdedicated to the world of research outdoor clothing. S|Style Sustainable Styleinstead, it will focus on innovations and a commitment to green fashion.
The novelties of edition n.103
Like every year, the Florentine appointment with men’s fashion attracts international guests. Guest Designer of Pitti Uomo 2023 is, in fact, Martin Rose, a designer of Anglo-Jamaican origins who will present a preview of the Fall-Winter 2023/24 collection of his homonymous brand on Thursday 12 January. «Pitti has always been at the forefront of celebrating the best menswear, and many of the designers I respect most have been part of it», declared the stylist. The Designer Project will be instead Jan-Jan Van Esschea Belgian creative known for his vision of fluid and essential fashion, who will stage his brand’s first ever show on Wednesday 11 January.

They will be 776 the brands present at Pitti Immagine, 40% of which come from abroad. Their task? Telling the different souls of menswear, in the thematic pavilions set up at the Fortezza. It starts from Fantastic classicsthe evolution of the classic in its most innovative and contemporary versions, to get to Male futurea proposal bordering on sportswear and lifestyle. Dynamic Attitude is dedicated to brands with an elegant, energetic and vintage-influenced design; Superstyling investigates the stylistic canons that will characterize the next trends. Finally, this year’s novelties include the SIGNa special area dedicated to objects and furnishing accessories, e PITTIPETSexhibition space for animal accessories.
Special events and new projects
The agenda of appointments at Pitti Immagine 2023 is very rich. At Palazzo Antinori, Pierre-Louis Mascia presents PHILOCALIE, an anthology that encompasses nature, culture, art and fashion and which finds expression on the fabrics made by Achille Pinto. The events signed by Palazzo Finlandese are back, which will host the presentation of the FW 23 collection by VAIN, design project interdisciplinary founded in 2019 in Helsinki by Jimi Vain. Château Orlandoclothing, accessories, home decor and lifestyle brand brings its eclectic world to Pitti Uomo for the first time with an installation in the Sala delle Nazioni.

And it doesn’t end there. Holubar celebrates its 75th anniversary with three special projects; Piquadro presents a preview of the outerwear collection; SUPERDUPER unveils the new chapter in its collaboration with Lorenzo Jovanotti. At Pitti Uomo 2023 Jeckerson inaugurates an unprecedented path in its legendary history, while Ciesse Piumini brings the latest evolution of its iconic garments to Florence, between performance, technology and adventure.
