One person died early Sunday morning in a serious accident in Breda. Due to the enormous impact, this person was thrown from the car. Firefighters freed another occupant from the car. He is injured and rushed to hospital.
Before the car came to a stop on Heerbaan, the two occupants first hit a bollard, street lighting and an advertising column. The accident happened just after half past six at the intersection with Claudius Prinsenlaan.
According to a 112 correspondent, the street is littered with debris. No other vehicles are involved.
Street cordoned off
Police have cordoned off the street to investigate. Experts from the Traffic Accident Analysis (VOA) come to the site for tactical and technical investigations.
