Swiss in 4th place

Benjamin Moser, one of the three ÖSV athletes, came seventeenth in qualifying. His compatriots Michael Föttinger (36th) and Philipp Leodolter (50th), on the other hand, did not make it into the top 30. The Swiss Valerio Grond made people sit up and take notice. The Davoser stormed to an impressive 4th place. In addition, Erwan Käser just made it into the quarter-finals as 30th. Roman Schaad (42nd) is no longer there.

Only two DSV runners faced the qualification in the morning with 67 registered athletes. Both Janosch Brugger (47th) and Albert Kuchler (65th) bowed out. In the quarter-finals, which start at 12:27 p.m., we have to make do with the men without German participation.

Classic Sprint

After the freestyle variant in Lillehammer, the men are now again using the classic technique for their third sprint of the season. As usual, the women take turns running on a 1,312 meter long lap. And if you want to win this competition, you have to go through it four times.
