Large police operation in the City-West!
Around 5 p.m., a man is said to have attacked his ex-wife on the green strip in front of the Urania (Kurfürstenstraße at the corner of Kleiststraße). According to BZ information, the woman was shot. She was seriously injured and taken to the hospital.

Her condition is said to be stable, a police spokesman said on Monday evening. The perpetrator is on the run.

The area was cordoned off, and initially there were major traffic disruptions, the traffic information center said. Around 9.30 p.m. the traffic situation had calmed down again and the scene of the crime was cleared.
More information about those involved in the crime and the backgrounds were initially not available. In the late evening it became known that the woman who was shot was not seriously injured. The police are still investigating, but the murder commission was not involved.
