Red Bull Munich consolidated their lead in the German Ice Hockey League on matchday 24. Coach Don Jackson’s team beat newly promoted Löwen Frankfurt 3-2 (0-0, 2-0, 1-2) on Sunday and now have 53 points.
Andreas Eder (22′), Patrick Hager (35′) and Christopher DeSousa (53′) scored for Munich, Frankfurt was able to shorten twice through Chad Nehring (45′) and Kevin Maginot (56′).
