Unknown gunmen opened fire on a car outside an arena just after the Venezuelan singer’s concert. The Mexican newspaper El Sol de Morelia reports, based on information from the local police, that one person has been arrested.
Two vehicles parked near the concert hall would have been targeted by the gunmen. Witnesses speak of a group of armed individuals who carried out the attack.
On Twitter, Danny Ocean expresses surprise and sympathy in multiple messages. “I don’t understand why things like this happen when we bring a message of love with us. I have no words, I’ve never experienced this. Please be careful, I’m behind you. My channels remain open for those who need them. This does not change the love I feel for all parts of Mexico,” he said in a first tweet.
Ocean continued in a second post: “It hurts me that people with problems can’t solve them without involving others. How long will it be before we learn to think about others, not just ourselves?”
