Driving to the climate protest to block cars…
Once again, climate radicals of the so-called last generation have caused chaos on the streets. On the Schönefeld exit and the feeder to BER on the A 113, they blocked traffic on Friday morning.
And to do this, they used two of the cars they hated so much!

With specially rented vehicles from the Sixt rental company, they initially drove parallel on the motorway with the hazard warning lights on and slowed down more and more. Finally they stopped, got out with safety vests and taped themselves to the road.
An activist (31) used a so-called two-component adhesive made of resin and hardener instead of the usual superglue. The police officers did not get any further with him with sunflower oil.

The concrete around the hand had to be milled open. “The police officers then had to pry open concrete,” said a police spokeswoman.
The action was painful for the eco-extremist, his hand was bleeding. He came to a hospital.
The result of the renewed radical protests: miles of traffic jams. There was an accident here! Fortunately, no one was injured, according to police.

The traffic obstructions could nevertheless be kept within limits. Traffic was diverted at the exit in Adlershof. The vehicles in the traffic jam were allowed to turn and were directed off the highway.
Traffic on the blocked section was released by the police at 2:23 p.m.

There were reports of dangerous interventions in road traffic, coercion and resistance to law enforcement officials against ten people involved.
The Sixt rental company was shocked: “We condemn it if one of our rental vehicles is misused for such actions,” said a spokesman. “We will exclude the persons concerned from future rentals with Sixt.”
