Three-time Olympic champion Denmark has reached the final of the women’s handball championship.
In the semifinals in Ljubljana, Slovenia, coach Jesper Jensen’s team beat co-hosts Montenegro 27:23 (14:10) and in the final on Sunday (November 20th, 2022) will face Tokyo Olympic champions France or defending European Championship champions Norway.
The Danish women’s best shooter was Emma Friis with seven goals. Denmark, co-hosts of the World Cup next year, started the European Championships with a defeat against Slovenia, but have not lost a point since then.
