Stream: Nas releases KING’S DISEASE 3 – without any features

The third part of the KING’S DISEASE albums by Nasir Jones, better known as Nas, was released on Friday (November 11th). Like the previous two parts, the album is again produced by Hit-Boy and Nas and contains a total of 17 songs. Nas released his debut album ILLMATIC in 1994 and has since become one of the most important figures in the rap landscape.

With KINGS’S DISEASE, the rapper from New York was able to usher in a new era in his career. With the first part he won his only Grammy since his first nomination in 1997 for “Best Rap Solo Performance”. The second part, KING’S DISEASE II, which fans have been eagerly awaiting, spawned a total of eight features. Among them with Eminem, YG, the rap duo EPMD – and his producer Hit-Boy could also be heard on the microphone on the song “Composure”. The track featuring Lauryn Hill was special to many Nas fans because they both shared the song in 1996 “If I Ruled The World” produced, for which Nas was first nominated at the Grammys. However, there are no features on KING’S DISEASE III.

Most recently, Nas ended the NY State of Mind Tour in Los Angeles on October 4th together with the Wu-Tang Clan. Together they have toured a total of 25 cities in America since August.
