Young PSV loses in injury time, TOP Oss beats Young AZ

In the Kitchen Champion Division there were major defeats for NAC Breda and FC Eindhoven. The Breda team suffered a big 5-1 defeat against leader Heracles in Almelo. FC Eindhoven lost 5-2 against PEC Zwolle. Willem II was stuck at 0-0 against VVV Venlo. Young PSV suffered a loss against De Graafschap deep in injury time, 3-2. TOP Oss was the only Brabant team to take three points on Friday-evening. The Ossenaren were 2-1 too strong for Jong AZ.

Heracles-NAC Breda 5-1
NAC Breda suffered a hopeless 5-1 defeat against Heracles, the leader in the Kitchen Champion Division. The opening was for NAC. On a pass from Stef de Wijs, Ody Velanas was able to give the Breda team the lead. Heracles then took matters into his own hands. At halftime, the score was already 3-1. Thomas Bruns, Ruben Roosken and Nikolai Laursen were Almelo’s goalscorers. NAC played a hopeless game. Goals from Laursen and Emil Hansson again determined the final score at 5-1.

TOP Oss – Young AZ 2-1
Of the Brabant teams that came into action on Friday-evening, only TOP Oss was successful. The Ossenaren took the lead against Jong AZ in the second minute. Joep van de Sluijs signed for the opening goal. Halfway through, TOP Oss was leading 2-0. The second goal was scored by Thomas Beekman. In the second half, Soulyman Allouch made the connecting goal, but the team from Alkmaar did not come any further.

PEC Zwolle – FC Eindhoven 5-2
A goal-rich match in Zwolle. In total there were seven goals. Younes Tata opened the score for PEC Zwolle, 1-0. Quickly followed by the equalizer of Jasper Dahlhaus. Thanks to a goal by Luis Görlich, the home side went into halftime with a 2-1 lead. After the break FC Eindhoven came alongside via Mohamed Diaby. In the remaining part of the game, the home team scored three more times via Bart van Hintum, Younes Tata and Samir Lagsir.

VVV Willem II 0-0
VVV and Willem II did not score in Venlo. It was a game with no real big chances. At the start of the game, it was Willem II who created the most threat. Gradually, VVV got a few chances, but Tilburg goalkeeper Kostas Lamprou kept his goal clean. In the final phase the best chance was still for Jeremy Bokila (Willem II), but his shot was blocked.

De Graafschap – Young PSV 3-2
For a long time, the match between Jong PSV and De Graafschap seemed to end in a 2-2 draw. At halftime it was 1-1 after goals from Fode Fofana (0-1) and Basar Onal (1-1) After the break, Savio de Oliveira gave the Eindhoven team a 1-2 lead. Jong PSV handed over the victory in the final phase. First Basar Onal equalized and in the 97th minute Anis Yadir scored the winning goal for De Graafschap.
