Arjen Lubach goes back into the theater. The comedian, writer and presenter confirmed a message about this from the Zwartekat.nl website on Twitter on Wednesday. For the time being, it concerns a series of try-outs in November and December. The performance has the working title Comedy Tour.
Lubach will try out his new material in November and December in Heerenveen, The Hague, Hoogeveen, Apeldoorn, Hoorn and Leeuwarden. Ticket sales have already started.
It will be the second time that Lubach will visit the theaters solo with his own show. His first solo performance was called Lubach LIVE!. He played this one in 2018 and 2019. Last summer he performed once again in comedy theater Boom Chicago in Amsterdam.
Before Lubach switched to television in 2014 and achieved success with Sunday with Lubach he played in various theater formations. For example, the comedian was part of the improvisation company Op Sterk Water for many years.
