AZ announced today that it does not agree with the proposal of the KNVB prosecutor to shave Dani de Wit for three matches, one of which is conditional. De Wit would miss the match against RKC and the top match against PSV.
The footballer from Bovenkarspel received a red card after fourteen minutes on Sunday after a foul on FC Volendam striker Robert Mühren.
De Wit was afterwards of the 2-1 victory over FC Volendam guilty, although the midfielder did not consider the offense so serious that it had to result in more than one game suspension. So the prosecutor thinks differently. If he is in the right, De Wit will have to miss the matches against RKC (06/11) and PSV (12/11).
