A cyclist was injured this morning on the Vastenow in Klazienaveen. While crossing the road, the victim was hit by a car.
The cyclist landed on the windshield of the car and then fell on the road surface. Bystanders provided first aid and called emergency services.
The injured cyclist was taken to hospital by ambulance. It is unknown what the victim’s condition is. Police are investigating how the accident could have happened.
