Filemon Wesselink kicked the sore leg of Ronald Molendijk, one of Glennis Grace’s celebrity besties, in the talk show HLF8 last night. “This is a whole different story!”

Ronald Molendijk is very loyal to his good friend Glennis Grace. The Shownieuws music expert pretends the Whitney Houston impersonator is on trial for dropping a bag of pears in the fruit department. He shouted last night in HLF8 that the whole of the Netherlands will soon be singing along with the singer.

killer album

As soon as there is a top album from Glennis, according to Ronald everything is forgotten and forgiven. “She will have to come back with a killer album,” he explains in the talk show.

Well, forget that quietly, says Filemon Wesselink next to him at the table. “You always have to give people a second chance after they’ve served their sentences and everything, but are you really looking forward to it?”

stock fillers

Not Philemon in any case. “All the time I see those stock fillers who have even fled into the office with threats after them. I think that’s a really terrible image and I can’t enjoy the music as much.”

Ronald exasperated: “Then you shouldn’t do that either.”

Philemon: “I think a lot of people have that.”

Ronald: “Yes, that’s not bad at all. There are also a lot of people who don’t like The Beatles and they were for The Stones.

‘What nonsense’

What nonsense, says Philemon. “That’s a different story, of course.”

Table guest Debby Gerritsen: “They didn’t beat up shelf fillers.”

Ronald: “At the Rolling Stones, worse things have happened.”

Filemon: “You hear the music and you see stockers being threatened in the office. And then: ‘I Will Always Love You.’”

Ronald: “That doesn’t matter at all, does it? It’s like she’s the repertoire. That is of course not the case. At The Stones, people are simply stabbed to death in front of the stage. They hired them themselves. And a few years later, the entire Amsterdam Arena is singing along.

‘We take less’

Filemon fears for Ronald and his good friend that a successful career is no longer possible. “I think it’s hard to get over this. It is also a different time. We may also pick up less from artists than we used to.”

Ronald continues to believe in his vulgar bestie: “I think that if there is a good song, a lot of people will soon sing it again. It’s also not that everyone is anti-Glennis Grace.”

Incidentally, Ronald is also close friends with another celebrity who has completely misbehaved, namely Jeroen Rietbergen. “Is Jeroen still welcome at my home? Of course!” he said earlier.
