Another explosion in Amsterdam. An ATM on the Buikslotermeerplein in Amsterdam-North was blown up last night. The area around the shopping center has been cordoned off and an explosives scout from the police is on site to check whether any explosives are left behind.
The explosion happened around 3 a.m. last night. Two blows could have been heard in the area.
There was nothing left of the ATM. The police immediately cordoned off the area and started a search for the perpetrator. A helicopter was also used. It is still unclear whether anything was stolen.
Amsterdam has become ravaged by thudsand the Buikslotermeerplein has also been targeted more than once.
