The round of 16 matches in the DFB Cup between 1. FSV Mainz 05 and FC Bayern and Eintracht Frankfurt against Darmstadt 98 will be broadcast live on the first in February.
The round of the best 16 teams is spread over four match days. The game between Mainz and the champions from Munich will be played on Wednesday (02/01/2022). The first will broadcast from 8:15 p.m., kick-off will be at 8:45 p.m. Then there is a summary of the duel between RB Leipzig and TSG Hoffenheim.
Europa League winner Eintracht Frankfurt will then meet second division club SV Darmstadt 98 on Tuesday (February 7th, 2022, 8.45 p.m.). After the live broadcast, which will also start at 8.15 p.m., there will be excerpts of the game between SV Sandhausen and to see the SC Freiburg.
