Soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo has returned to team training after a pause for thought at Manchester United.
The English giants released photos showing the Portuguese on the pitch on Tuesday. Ronaldo was dropped from the squad for last weekend’s Premier League game at Chelsea (1-1) for disciplinary reasons.
Team manager Erik ten Hag gave the 38-year-old a time-out because Ronaldo had left the inside of the stadium in the 88th minute of the top game against Tottenham Hotspur (2-0) and previously refused to be substituted on.
It is still unclear whether Ronaldo will be part of the squad again in the Europa League game against Sheriff Tiraspol/Moldau on Thursday (9:00 p.m. CEST).
