Paramount+ gave birth to The Manager, which premiered on the platform on Thursday, and to celebrate the premiere of its first original film shot in Argentina, an avant-garde premiere was held with the participation of numerous personalities from the world of entertainment and business.
“I am very happy to see the result of a project that we did with a lot of passion. It is a story that will undoubtedly conquer the hearts of Argentines on the eve of the World Cup,” said Ariel Winograd, director of the film.
The long-awaited night of the film’s avant premiere was attended by Winograd, along with the entire cast of the film made up of Leonardo Sbaraglia, Carla Peterson, Luis Luque, Cecilia Dopazo, Marina Belatti, Agustina “Papryka”, Ignacio Saralegui, Valentín Wein , Monica Raiola, among others. In addition, great artists and renowned personalities passed through the blue carpet to kick off a great night.
The Manager tells the story of Álvaro, a marketing manager who has long since lost his grace. Separated, the father of a teenage son with whom he can barely hold a dialogue, bored with an unchallenging job and a body that is beginning to suffer the consequences, his life has entered a long stand-by from which he will have to wake up when Manganaro and Federica (the owner of the company and the new star general manager), demand that he innovate his mediocre sales campaigns.
Álvaro and his team will have to rise to the occasion, but the idea that under pressure will appear will take him down an unexpected path of exposure and risk that he did not seem willing to face. The campaign puts its leading brand of televisions at the center of the media scene and Álvaro on the tightrope: from there he will have to review what are the important things that he is about to lose and must recover.
