Because of worries in the gate: SV Sandhausen gets keeper Königsmann

Second division reacts

SV Sandhausen has responded to injury concerns between the posts and has signed goalkeeper Timo Königsmann without a club. The 25-year-old Hanoverian was most recently – from 2019 to 2022 – active for Waldhof Mannheim. Second division Sandhausen currently has to do without Patrick Drewes and Benedikt Grawe.

“After Patrick’s bad news and Bene’s injury, we were forced to sign another goalkeeper. Timo was a training guest at Hardtwald for a long time and presented himself well. So it was obvious to sign him,” said sporting director Mikayil Kabaca.

“Timo knows the team and fits in very well with our structure. Since he performed well in training, we are convinced that he will help us,” added goalkeeping coach Daniel Ischdonat.
