Arsenal win Europa League catch-up game

Premier League leaders Arsenal have once again underscored their strong form in the Europa League.

In the catch-up game on the fourth day of the game, the Londoners defeated PSV Eindhoven 1-0 (0-0) thanks to a goal by ex-Gladbacher Granit Xhaka (71st).

With twelve points, Mikel Arteta’s team has already secured a place in the play-off intermediate round. The chances of reaching the round of 16 are also very good with a five-point lead over the Dutch with two games left.

The game, originally scheduled for September 15, was canceled due to the funeral services for the late British Queen Elizabeth II. There were not enough police forces in London for the game.
