The first TPS forward selected to the NHL last summer at the booking event Juraj Slafkovsky opened his goal tap in the taala league.

The top prospect of the Montreal Canadiens was fully responsible for his own goal. He robbed Arizona Coytes of the puck By Nick Ritchie off the stage and locked the wrists with a back corner drag. The goal was also the first power point of his career in the NHL.

The Canadiens eventually beat the Coyotes 6–2. The number one reserve, who cooled down in the foursome, got more than 14 minutes of ice time. He was responsible for perhaps the best hit of the game Nick Suzukiwho scored from the penalty shot Peter Forsberg -style zip to the top corner.

The Columbus Blue Jackets picked up their second straight win. This time, the Nashville Predators fell 5–3. The star player of the team Johnny Gaudreau is slowly starting to get up to speed, as the Yankee striker scored two goals. With the goal of the Predators Kevin Lankinen made 37 saves.

The Dallas Stars suffered their first loss of the season as a guest of the Toronto Maple Leafs. Two goals scored Nick Robertson decided the match in overtime 3–2.

The Vancouver Canucks, who lost their leading positions, received one more lesson from the Minnesota Wild. In the meeting of two teams looking for an opening victory, the Canucks were twice in the lead, but Mats Zuccarello tied the match at 3–3 in the third set. In overtime, the Wild Kirill Kaprizov sent the Canucks packing to the locker room.

The loss was the fifth in a row for the Canucks. In every game, the team has been in the lead.
