Throughout the years, writers and singers have been active in and about De Wolden. On October 30, a number of them will be commissioned in the Theaterschuur Linde.
“Here in the countryside they write their lyrics, or they live elsewhere and write about the Wolden. All those Wolder Words end up in poems, stories and songs. Sometimes they are about our region. Sometimes they are inspired by it. Sometimes they have nothing to do with it at all. But the similarity is that they have a Wolder underlayer. In the text or in its maker”, Jan Veenstra and Marga Kool, the owners of the Theaterschuur, muse. “We think it is worth pausing every now and then to reflect on the Wolder Words and their spiritual mothers and fathers. The first time we will do that on Sunday 30 October.”
Musical companion
At 2.30 pm Ria Westerhuis, a poet from the Wijk; Kees Opmeer, writer from Ruinen; Marius Klein, singer-songwriter from Echten, with his musical companion Hendrik Luurtsema; Derk Jan ten Hoopen, writer/poet from Zuidwolde and Baukje Bloemert, editor from Zuidwolde. Because Wolder Words is also about Wolder writers of the past, Baukje Bloemert highlights one writer from the past in this series. This first time it is Bonnie Kuik-Veendorp. Marga Kool and Jan Veenstra from Linde also contribute as hostess and hostess.
The hall opens at 2:30 PM. The program starts at 3 p.m. and has an intermission. The performance ends at approximately 5:00 PM, but there are ample opportunities for a review. Entrance fee: € 12.50 including coffee/tea and cake in advance.
Reservation: via the contact form on www.theaterschuurlinde.nl . Or 0523-235001
