Eliminate site signalling

The traffic jam started in the direction of Bruges. The Agency for Roads and Traffic was removing the site signage on the works between Moorsele and the Roeselare-Izegem exit. An unpleasant timing because it resulted in a loss of time of up to an hour for those who wanted to go from Kortrijk to Roeselare.

Accident in Lichtervelde

In the other direction, an accident with four to five cars involved caused misery. In Lichtervelde, a lot of emergency services came to the scene for a small chain collision. That also resulted in a very long traffic jam, from Torhout to Lichtervelde. Another hour lost here. And a view file in the other direction of travel.
