They play sisters Pirjo Heikkilä, Niina Lahtinen, Krisse Salminen mixed Sanna Stellan. Their mother is seen Miitta Sorvali. In addition, the series features a child actress playing the youngest child Joonas Nordman.
Acting as director and main scriptwriter of the series Anna Dahlman says that family relationships are possibly the longest human relationships in life.
– One TV series or years of therapy are not enough to root them out. We approach family relationships with dark humor, because how else would you approach them? Although your own family is probably the one who traumatized you, they are also the only ones there to help you get over that trauma, Anna Dahlman says.
In the center of the series is the mother of the family, Regina, who, after having a cerebral infarction, gets the children to return home.
However, the return does not go rosy at all, as the sisters start a fight right from the start about who will be left to watch over the sick mother.

The series takes place in and around the mansion of popular children’s author Regina Vallas, played by Sorval. Due to a mild cerebral infarction, the character is ready to abandon his children’s book series and wants to write an unsparing generational novel about his family. Sorvali was not part of the popular Siskonpeti series.
– There was a loving atmosphere and full trust between the people during the filming. All in all, the best crew! During the last days of filming, it was even hoped that we could stay and live there in the mansion for the rest of our lives. We just live there and think we are being filmed, even though the cameras are no longer working, describes Sorvali.

The eight-part series is written by Anna Dahlman, Niina Lahtinen and Anna Brotkin. Dahlman has also acted as the director of the series.
– Special thanks for everything to our director. He created an atmosphere where everyone can dance with confidence, knowing that his sense of humor guides everything to its diamond bed, says screenwriter Niina Lahtinen.
