André van Duin disappoints with the start of the second season of De Grote Kleine Treinen Competition. “I’m a bit shocked that this is under a million.”
Tina Nijkamp, the most important viewing figures analyst in our country, is quite shocked by the viewing figures that André van Duin achieves with the second season of his TV program De Grote Kleine Treinen Competitie. Yesterday’s premiere attracted ‘only’ 875 thousand viewers (18 percent market share) on NPO 1.
‘I’m in shock’
Where André attracted an average of 1.2 million viewers on the Wednesday evening of this channel with the first season, the show does a lot less well on Saturday evening. “Andre van Duin’s viewing figures are slightly disappointing. It’s not bad, but less than Ik Departure XL and also less than what the program scored on Wednesday.”
It comes unexpected for Tina. “I did not expect this because many families watch TV on Saturdays. Maybe it will score better when Lego Masters is over? It’s the same kind of program. all in all I’m still a bit shocked that it scores under a million. A real shame. Wonderful program.”
Rob on one
The big winner in prime time was Ik Hou Van Holland with 949 thousand viewers (20 percent) on SBS 6, a bit painful for Linda de Mol. She will be replaced by Rob Kemps this season and he is attracting more viewers than she did last season. Now he scores a record with almost a million viewers.
Tina: “There are even more viewers than average for the last season with Linda de Mol. And yesterday for the first time the number one of the 20.30-hour lock. So a beautiful Sunday for Rob Kemps and cream cake for the team on Monday!”
all-rounder
The silver goes to De Alleskunner VIPS, which managed to entertain an audience of 909 thousand viewers (21 percent) on SBS 6 immediately after Ik Hou Van Holland.
The other most viewed titles in prime time were Matthijs Goes Door with 867 thousand viewers (20 percent) on NPO 1, Dwars door België with 746 thousand viewers (16 percent) on NPO 2 and VriendenLoterij Miljonairs with 721 thousand viewers (18 percent) on RTL 4.
Lego Masters barely made it to the top 15 with 611 thousand viewers (13 percent).
