From 1 January 2023, the deduction of periodic gifts to charitable institutions (ANBI) will be limited to € 250,000 per calendar year. The government proposes this to counter the increase in very high periodic gifts. With such very high periodic donations, the taxable income can be greatly reduced or even reduced to zero. The government finds this undesirable.
