Queen Elizabeth’s soldier died aged 18

A young soldier was found dead in an army unit.

Served in Queen Elizabeth’s Cavalry Jack Burnell-Williams is dead. He still had time to attend the queen’s funeral on September 19. Burnell-Williams was one of the soldiers who accompanied the Queen’s coffin from Westminster Abbey to Wellington Arch.

The tragic thing about Burnell-Williams’ death is that she was only 18 years old.

The young man was found dead last Wednesday in the army barracks in London.

– We are saddened to announce the death of soldier Jack Burnell-Williams. He died on September 28 at Hyde Park Barracks. Our thoughts are with the soldier’s family and friends and we ask for their privacy in these sad times, the army representative informed.

The cause of death is not yet known.

A memorial service for Burnell-Williams will be held at Bryntirion Football Club in Bridgend on Saturday.

The royals are said to be close with the Burnell-Williams family.
