The name of Nasser Al-Khelaïfi is always surrounded by controversy. But so far, none had acquired the magnitude of the one now brought to light by the medium ‘Libération’. The French media points out that the president of PSG would be immersed in a plot of blackmail, abuse and extortion to a Franco-Algerian businessman who allegedly had compromising information about Al-Khelaïfi himself.

Tayeb B. of unknown appearance and nature, was irregularly arrested on January 13, 2020 in Qatar and imprisoned until November 1 of the same year. All this, due to belongings of sensitive material in which the name of the PSG boss would appear as one of those involved in the irregular election of Qatar as the venue for this World Cup.

Questioned and subjected to intense psychological pressure the employer in question was forced to return said material, before being released. A dark maneuver organized by Al-Khelaïfi and his lawyers to cover up any possible scandal before the start of the World Cup event. According to the testimony to the French media, the arrest would have been motivated, solely and exclusively, by “order of the emir of Qatar”. A fact that would leave more than in evidence the reason for said plot.
