Nottingham Forest have confirmed their 23rd transfer of the current season. Adnan Kanuric (22), who has been without a club so far, is a fourth goalkeeper for the Premier League club, who may also plan to include the Austrian-born Bosnian in the second team. The goalkeeper, who was last active at FK Sarajevo, came from the youth team at RB Salzburg and was also in Germany for a short time, as a newcomer to the professional team.
Nottingham had signed 21 new players within the summer transfer window alone through early September. 16 of them came for fees totaling more than 160 million euros. Forest is playing its part in record spending by Premier League clubs on their squads this season. With the exception of ex-Bayern professional Omar Richards, Deadline Day newcomer Loïc Badé and Serge Aurier, who also joined later, Nottingham have already used all the newcomers in competitive games.
