Tina and Chris queued for 11 hours to see Queen Elizabeth’s coffin.
The 11-hour queue for the coffin was worth everything, the couple from Sheffield assured Tin and Chris At the foot of Big Ben.
– It was so emotional, both say from the same mouth.
– The most amazing thing was the silence. You would have heard a needle drop there, says Tina.

Seeing the guards was also exciting.
– It was so peaceful and of course also sad, Tina continues.

Queuing at Westminster Hall for Elizabeth’s coffin to the bodyguards has already become a concept. The line winds along the banks of the Thames and sometimes makes turns behind the houses. There are water stations and, of course, toilets for those waiting in line.
Can you imagine that time will be long?
– Heh, not really. We chatted with other queuers. Everyone is so nice, Tina says as Chris nods next to her.
According to Chris, the time actually passed quite quickly.
The decision to travel to London for the bodyguards was made a week ago.
– Despite the sadness, this was an incredible experience. We will never forget this, says Tina.
– We never, Chris adds.
