Lego Masters was a huge hit for two seasons with Ruben Nicolai as the presenter. At its peak, a score of over 2 million viewers was even recorded once. How different it is now during the third season with Jamai Loman as the presenter. He carries the RTL 4 program to the TV graveyard with his own hands.

Jamie disappoints

After 631 thousand, 478 thousand and 578 thousand viewers for the first three episodes, the fourth Lego Masters last night did not exceed exactly 500 thousand viewers (12 percent market share). With this score, the Jamai show does not even manage to conquer a place in the daily top 15 viewership.

As many as three programs are doing better at the same time: NPO 1’s Ik Departure XL with 1.1 million viewers (25 percent), SBS 6’s Ik Hou Van Holland with 769 thousand viewers (19 percent) and NPO 2’s Langs De Kust with 752 thousand. viewers (17 percent).

What does Tina say?

What does viewing figures authority Tina Nijkamp say about this? She finds the numbers painful, but does point to the good score through delayed viewing. As a result, last week’s episode attracted about 330,000 viewers, while Ik Hou Van Holland can only add 40,000 viewers. Overall Lego Masters therefore attracts more viewers than ‘IHVH’.

Tina: “What does that say? The broadcast time may be too late for the very young. The program is popular in the target group 6 to 12 years: 60 percent market share! For comparison: Bommetje on NPO 3 scores 28.8 percent in that target group at 7.45 pm.

Matthijs fails

On to half past nine: De Alleskunner VIPS was the winner with 722 thousand viewers (19 percent) on SBS 6, followed by Matthijs goes door with 659 thousand viewers (18 percent) on NPO 1 and Nieuwsuur with 518 thousand viewers (14 percent). on NPO 2. Only then will RTL 4’s De 1 Percent Quiz follow with 512 thousand viewers (14 percent).

Tina: “Matthijs also scores disappointingly in the target group with 9.5 percent: less than half of the program before and after. Oof. It might be a good idea for Matthijs to choose more topics that the younger viewers also find interesting, because this is a big dip in the programming and the younger viewer drops out.
