Tuchel already traded at Bayern? Club with a clear attitude

It is an earnings crisis at FC Bayern that has now reached historic proportions. The last time the German record champions had a winless series of four games was almost 20 years ago. Everything has long been questioned at the Munich team, including head coach Julian Nagelsmann. According to a recent media report, the stance of the club bosses on the coaching issue is clear.

After FC Bayern lost 1-0 at FC Augsburg, the name of Thomas Tuchel even haunted the media world for the first time. The former Bundesliga coach from 1. FSV Mainz 05 and BVB was only recently dismissed from Chelsea, with whom he had won the Champions League in 2021.

As “Bild” soccer boss Christian Falk reported on Sunday morning, according to the current status, there is still no coaching discussion on Säbener Straße. Bayern are currently not doubting their head coach, it said.

Thomas Tuchel’s personnel is therefore also “a pure media issue”, as ex-Augsburg coach Markus Weinzierl found in “Bild”: “It is normal for the media to make the game out of it. Business lives on it too. Julian Nagelsmann is responsible for the points, he is now challenged. But he will master this situation. Bayern may have a little low now. But in the end they will be German champions again, one hundred percent,” said Weinzierl.

FC Bayern visits the Oktoberfest on Sunday afternoon

The football teacher was still on the line as Augsburg coach in the 2-1 home win of Augsburg against FC Bayern last season.

As the report went on to say, an exit strategy for Nagelsmann, who cost a whopping 25 million euros just under a year and a half ago, is not being discussed in the Bayern executive suite. At the earliest in the coming summer after two completed seasons there should also be certain exit or severance clauses in the working paper of the 35-year-old.

On Sunday morning, Nagelsmann first ordered his professional squad to the club premises on Säbener Straße for a report and to deal with the 0-1 defeat. The team is then expected at around 1 p.m. at the Munich Oktoberfest.
